2018 Lincoln Center Season

March 5 - 25, 2018

Paul Taylor American Modern Dance presented three stellar weeks of iconic works by Paul Taylor, Lila York, and Trisha Brown, and new commissions by Doug Varone and Bryan Arias. New York City Ballet Principal Sara Mearns shone in Lori Belilove's Dances of Isadora.

In addition to accessing several options for discounted tickets, TaylorNEXT members enjoyed backstage tours with the dancers on three TaylorNEXT Nights, danced the night away at the TaylorNEXT Party on the Promenade, and toasted in the Patrons Lounge during intermissions.

IVY Dance Lab

August 24, 2017

TaylorNEXT members attended the IVY Dance Lab at the Paul Taylor Dance Studios. Sixteen company members performed Mr. Taylor's "Promethean Fire" in an intimate setting, followed by a Q&A with dancers Heather McGinley and Michael Apuzzo.

To paraphrase Paul Taylor American Modern Dance Executive Director John Tomlinson paraphrasing Mr. Taylor:
"Dance should be experienced with the eyes in much the same way that music is experienced with the ears. Rather than seeking analysis or meaning, simply see and feel."

One lucky attendee won the raffle for 2 seats at our First Anniversary Dinner.
